Update of the liver drama and the "last meal"
So we went to Champaign yesterday to the liver doctor. He looked at my information and was shocked they thought it was a big deal. He said your GGT levels can be increased by tons of things. He said it can go up if you fall down or bump your knee. (I figure he may be exaggerating on that) After looking at the test that had already been done he decided that it must be fat in my liver. He said that this isn't determined by the persons weight. He said a 125 pound 6 ft tall guy can have the same thing wrong with him. What is making it happen is that my liver sends out stuff to the body and keeps to much liver there. So we can do a biopsy witch he doesn't feel is worth the pain and risk from surgery or we can do the 9 blood tests and eliminate all the other stuff so we know it is fat in my liver. Basically I have to go on a serious crazy no fat diet to get rid of the fat and if in the mean time the test come back and show we have a serious problem we will know that is the problem instead of fat. The problem is the fat will create scar tissue and eventually cirrhosis of the liver if it isn't taken care of now. So I will be on a crash diet. This is going to suck so bad!! I am thrilled that it isn't a more serious problem though.

He stole my diet coke!!
Ok so Adam has done things before that ticked me off but today was it! He stole my Diet Coke out of the fridge popped out the middle, drank it, and threw away the evidence before he was caught. He was only caught because he spilled a little and then admitted he threw my soda away. I have tried very hard to cut down my Diet Coke to only 1 a day. My mom had brought this one over when she visited me to show her new wheels off. I left it in the fridge while we ran to town. Now I am desprite in need of a soda and the nearest one is Marshall. Bunker Hill is already closed and there are no pop machines here. It is a toss up whether to get in the car and go or to just suck it up and have a cup of coffee.

Jelly
I woke up today to Adam in my bed giggling and bugging me to get up. He finally quit it sounded like he went back to his room. When Aman got up a few minutes later he went to watch the news and Adam came in and sat next to him. When Aman got up his leg was sticky. Yep he turned and looked at Adam. Adam was covered in JELLY. I came into the kitchen after hearing Aman say What is all over you! I took one look at him and knew. Yep jelly, he had been hiding under his bed eating jelly. His cover and floor had jelly all over. Adam has now had a bath and the covers are in the wash. I hope this isn't a sign of things to come today.
Sorry I didn't think to take pictures this time. :)

So the results
I had my ultrasound done on Friday and I got the results on Tuesday. They are normal. See normally that is a good thing, but see we are trying to find out why my blood test is showing I have a enzyme that is elevated. So we still don't know. Now I have a appointment with a liver specialist to try and see what he thinks.
So I will keep ya posted.

Halloween Part 2
So we took the boys Trick or Treating. We went to a total of 5 places. We were going to hit a few more but we got to talking and were at Ginnie's for a hour. Yes folks we took them to Ginnie's. She called Aman and he talked to her and asked if we could come by. So we did. It wasn't too bad. I mean it was a bit awkward at first walking in there. After a few minutes we sat down and talked to Ron and Ginnie played with David. Adam was way too busy playing with the dogs. He loved the dogs. He fed Maggie cheese and played fetch with Tippy. Adam and David even gave hugs and kisses to Ron and Ginnie when we left.
Who knows what the future hold for all of them, but last night it was nice and friendly.

The H1N1 Drama
So Marshall has been hit by the H1N1 flu. I got a call from a anonymous individual who told me about the kids getting sick before I put David on a bus and sent him to school. I realize my son cannot live in a bubble. I know he could potentially get this from a trip to town. Who knows maybe he already has it and is just not showing signs yet. I am going to try hard however to keep him from getting it. I pulled him out of preschool for the week. It isn't like he is in a higher grade and is going to miss a key building block while out. They study the ABC's, Colors, Letter Sounds. If I get too worried I can study those with him here. I am just not ready to sit back and risk him going to the hospital for months on end. We have been there once and I don't think I can survive that again. It was hard enough the first time he fought for his life. I know they say most kids fight it off, but we are talking about a boy who is tiny and gets sick for long stretches when it is just a common cold. I am scared of him getting this. I may be overreacting. Ya know what though he is my kid, this is my choice. You raise your kid and I will raise mine. I am a good Mom and I think this is the right decision for us.
Sorry if this seems a bit grouchy.
After yesterday and certain reactions from people I am touchy about this topic.

It has been a while
So I haven't posted anything on here in a while. I don't really have any new pictures of things the kids have done to put up. David is still doing well at school. I framed his signature. He came home a couple weeks back and had wrote his name at school. I nearly started crying when I saw it. I even called his aide to see if she helped or if he did it. She said she helped with the lower case d. I was so shocked. This is a milestone I didn't realize. I am so proud of his progress in the last year! Walking around writing his name. Spelling everything from the exit sign to the title of books. He can't read yet but he can tell me letters and sometimes tell me the sound they make. I think he takes this pretty seriously considering he yelled at a little boy in his class when they were talking about letter A and the sound it makes. He told the little boy he was going to put him in Time Out!
Adam is doing good. Learning manors and how to turn on light switches. He also likes to feed David yogurt. I don't think David appreciates it though.
Aman is still Aman. Harvest isn't exactly going well so he isn't the happiest camper. Aman did speak to his Mom so that is good.
d ddaaaaaaaaaaav iiiii ddd
I told David to spell his name. Those letters took him 3 minutes.
