David transistioning to food

The process of getting David to eat real food is really starting to bother me. He has reverted back to barely eating anything. Yesterday he refused applesauce and only ate yogurt for breakfast. Then later in the day had another yogurt and ate pineapple upside down cake. I am a member on cafe mom and I posted about it and this lady told me to give him pediasure. I was like really I do that already. We are trying to get him to eat food not drink. I get really tired of advice sometimes. I really want the answer and I will generally try anything with David. However it really ticks me off when people say things like I could get him too wonder why he won't for you? Or well if you would just try this then it would work. Do you all not realize I have tried everything his therapist and I can think of. We have been working on this for what feels like forever. To explain how long my son's therapist has had two kids while we have been working on this. So yeah it has been awhile.
Sorry to sound bitchy but I need to vent.

The Adam in the mirror

I was in the office and on the internet. (imagine that ) The gate on the door was open to let the boys in and out. Adam came in and started smiling at himself in the mirror. Then he started talking to his reflection. He asked What are you talking about? Then he started making spit bubbles and looking at them in the mirror. It was so cute!

David was in the office with me and he was trying to learn how to whistle. He put his lips like this and hummed. It was hilarious!

I think he might eventually get it but not today.

School is Back!!!

Yippie!! I am so excited that in just a little over a week David will return to school. There will be new students, new teacher, new time to go to school, and a new buss ride! I really think this year will be great! We won't have to rush around in the morning and try to get to school early to avoid the huge line of cars and children on recess. This year David is going to ride the bus to school and then Mommy will pick him up. I really hope David likes riding the bus to school so I don't have to drive to town twice a day. Now if only Adam was old enough to go too. :)

Reunion 2009

Reunion was pretty fun. The boys had a good time. David wore out really quickly and would have to sit in the camper and rest for a while. Adam had a good time getting dirty and trying to play with the big kids. Aman brought the kids home Sunday Morning and I came home with Grandma Reta.
