Do you remember when David used to be scared to get his hands dirty? He wouldn't dream of even touching paint. Well things have changed.
David will now stick his hands straight into his mashed potatoes.
He colors his face with markersDavid is getting big he weighs in over 40 pounds now and has grown into size 4 pants and shirts. How crazy is that.
He also likes princess things. He was trying to show Aunt Jill his new camera while he was talking to her on the phone. Both the boys think because they can hear you that you can see them on the phone.
Yesterday while David was at school Adam and Aman made pasta. They made a few different types. Adam loved it. It wasn't really that hard to do either. I think they both had a really good time doing it together. Adam decided to draw on his stomach yesterday morning. He came up to me and told me he didn't feel so good. I asked why and he said look at my tummy. He lifted up his shirt and had made circles o himself. I asked if he drew anywhere else and I looked around. After finding nothing else wrote on I decided I wouldn't fight him for the pen.
Later yesterday afternoon he came running up to me and asked if I liked his mustache. I told him it was lovely and asked he give me the pen. I wish people who pick the toys for kids meals wouldn't choose Pen and paper as the toy. It makes me the bad guy when I take it away.
So for David's birthday we let him pick a friend and take them to pizza Hut. He chose Miss Zaya. Aman knows her family really well. So he called her Grandma and we arranged to pick her up and take her to lunch. I think all the kids had fun. They got to pick their own pizza and drink. Zaya even tried a mushroom off our pizza. I couldn't convince the boys to try one. :)
Adam and David are so excited about Christmas this year. Adam loves all the cards that have Santa on the front of them. Last night we took the boys to town to look at Christmas lights. They has such a good time! I can't wait to see them open their presents. I know they are going to love them!
David will turn 6 in about a week! That is pretty exciting! This year I am going to have a party for him. He never really gets to celebrate his birthday like Adam does. It is so close to Christmas that I usually just do a something simple at home just us. We are either going to do McDonald's Party or one here at the house.
Aman and I got a chance to go to the Beck's Christmas Extravaganza. The kids stayed with Grandma Marianne and we went to Indy to the Marriott. This is our picture we had taken that night.
I asked David tonight what he wants to do for his birthday. I said Dave do you want to go to a movie or build a bear for your birthday? He said "I wanna go to a red movie." I asked if he would like to take a friend. He said I want to take Zaya to a movie. Aman an I just smiled at each other. I am not sure whether Aman like the idea of David asking a girl to a movie or not. I think we both thought it was cute.
