New glasses

David got his new glasses today.

New shoes!

I ordered the boys new shoes from New Balance. They are sesame street. One pair is Cookie Monster, and the other is Bert and Ernie. The back of the tongues are the same color as the hair of the person or monster. So David's are black and Adam's are blue. So Cute! I love the fact they were made in the US too. Not to sound like Grandpa Dwain but I am starting to try and look for stuff like that.

Bowling

So we went bowling with the Stuckey family last night. It was not too bad. Adam just cried any time it wasn't his turn. He fell asleep on the way to Robinson. When we got him out of the car his little attitude was in full force. David really enjoyed bowling except for when he fell off his chair and hit the floor. David had such a good time playing with Siarra and Jayden. The kids used a ramp and bumpers to bowl. Aman says it will be a few years till we do this bowling thing again.

David's trip to Indy

So David had a ophthalmology appointment yesterday at Riley. Aman, David, Adam, and I all went. We got to the appointment half hour early and got right in. It went pretty fast and Dr. Neeley said David is doing great. He said he does not think David will need glasses before too long. There is barely any turning in of his eye.

After the appointment we decided to go to the zoo. Adam had a awesome time looking at the animals and playing with Ducks. He meowed at anything with whiskers and quacked at pretty much anything without them. Some times he growled and barked at things. David just like the walking around part he walked the entire zoo except for the last little bit and the walk to the van. Both the boys were so pooped and ready to go home. It was a nice day for the trip not to hot and humid. I was glad Aman got to go the zoo with us. I forgot my camera so no pictures for this trip.

My son had mad his choice

So in the Bumpus family there is only one choice Red Tractors.

In the Morgan family there is only one choice Green Tractors.

Today David made a choice. He refused to play with blue tractor or the red tractor. He only wanted to play with the Green ones.
Today David made his decision to go green.

David transistioning to food

The process of getting David to eat real food is really starting to bother me. He has reverted back to barely eating anything. Yesterday he refused applesauce and only ate yogurt for breakfast. Then later in the day had another yogurt and ate pineapple upside down cake. I am a member on cafe mom and I posted about it and this lady told me to give him pediasure. I was like really I do that already. We are trying to get him to eat food not drink. I get really tired of advice sometimes. I really want the answer and I will generally try anything with David. However it really ticks me off when people say things like I could get him too wonder why he won't for you? Or well if you would just try this then it would work. Do you all not realize I have tried everything his therapist and I can think of. We have been working on this for what feels like forever. To explain how long my son's therapist has had two kids while we have been working on this. So yeah it has been awhile.
Sorry to sound bitchy but I need to vent.
