Adam is becoming a big boy!

The Halloween costumes we bought the boys were a bit small.

Adam has the peeing in the potty down. He is having a little trouble with pooping in the potty. I think soon he will have that down too. I took some pictures of him today with his gun he made from toys in his room. I thought it was pretty neat. Also David had testing done at school. The target score is 3 for a preschooler at fall. The target for a preschooler by January is 9. David got a 18. How awesome is that!!!

Kaylie came to visit for a few hours today.

Catching up

Sorry it has been so long since I posted anything. There just isn't much to say. David is still in school. Adam has been playing with Kaylie (Nish's little girl) more. I had a birthday. David has the beautiful black eye and cheek he tripped over Aman's shoe while in our bedroom. He smashed his face into our bed frame. It has been a beauty for over a week now. Luckily his glasses block it enough people don't notice too much.

I am a big 29. It doesn't feel much different than 28. I think birthdays become less and less important as you get older. At least that is how it feels to me. The neclace is my half to the necklace Jill bought me. She has the other half. Jills has a star hole that fits my star on my half.My friend Trena got married. She is now Trena Trefz. Aman keeps calling her Tre Tre.

Grandpa Alfred and Grandma Marianne kept the kids while we were at the wedding. David found a new favorite thing while he was there. Only problem is when you go potty you have a hard time pulling the tutu up. :)

David has been working hard at his school work. This was his first homework of the year. I know your thinking it is just Kindergarten. Only thing is the homework came from preschool. Crazy isn't it. I think he enjoys doing the work. He got to use sparkles, glue, and stickers. This past weekend he had homework to work on writing his name.

David loves Starfall

David came home from school yesterday. All he wanted to do was play Starfall. You learn about letters and their sounds and all sorts of fun games. He played this for over a hour. He even ran the mouse. He is getting to be such a big boy!

David is a Preschooler/Kindergartener!

David started school this week. We got to orientation and found out that David is going all day. His whole class is going to go to preschool and then break up and go to different Kindergarten classes. This also means David rides the big boy bus to school and home.
This is very exciting!
He got home today and was asleep on the bus.

Bumpus Reunion

This was the 39th year for the Bumpus Reunion. The kids had a good time. That is when they weren't getting sick. We had boys with fever, puking, and diarrhea. We made it through the weekend till Sunday morning. Then we kind of gave up and came home early. It was a good decision because by the time we got home David had a very high fever. I gave him Ibuprofen and it came right down. So far this morning they are doing better an no fever yet. Hopefully it was just a bug and has worked its way through.
Next year is the 40th reunion and my family is in charge. If things stay in this pattern next year the boys will be healthy. Two years ago the kids had Chicken pox. Last year they were healthy. This year the flu. So next year they should be healthy. :)

Adam loves the slide.

Preschool

Back to preschool time. David is registered for his 3rd year. Guess what! He got a new teacher and it is in the morning. Mrs. Daily is his teacher and I think his aide is Denise. David is going to have the same class as the little girl next door.
So he can ride the bus and do therapy in the afternoon!
Yippie!!! SO SO Happy!
David got to see both his old aides at school registration.
