The chickens and turkey
We had chickens and a turkey but they kept getting out. So today we "cleaned" them. It was so gross. I was gonna take pictures of the adventure but I didn't want to have to look at it all to take pictures. Don't worry the boys were not outside near the pen and all the feathers and yuck.

Ugh!! i don't think i could have done it myself! i 'know' where meat comes from and i'm perfectly okay with it in theory. . . but the actual act of butchering is more than i can handle!! i prefer it to just 'magically' appear in my freezer :-)
