Indy Trip

So we just got home from Beck's Summer Camp. It was awesome! Aman and I left on Wednesday and got back today. Aman had meetings on Wednesday, and Thursday.
Wednesday I got to shopping with Janet in Plainfield. Then for dinner we went to St. Elmo's Steak House. Then after dinner I went out with My friend Brandy who lives in Indy. It was so fun to catch up with her.
Thursday I went on the spouse detour and got to tour the The Center for the Performing Arts in Carmel, Indiana. We had lunch in the Palladium. It was very nice food. Then after lunch they took us to Clay Terrace Mall. We got to shop for a couple hours and then we went back for dinner. At dinner they unveiled the chopper that Paul Sr. made for Beck's. It is nice! They made two and one is being put in a sweepstakes to raise money for We Care for Orphans Adoption Fund. Paul Sr. Started the bike and it shattered the glass panel in front of it. It was so cool!

Jill came home for a visit

Jill came home to look for a wedding dress. She found one in Tennessee last week. So she decided we should still get together for lunch. She picked Three Sisters.

Adam the Bunny

Adam was watching out the window the other night. He saw a bunny and wanted to talk to it. It was not interested in talking and ran away. Adam was describing the bunny to me. He grabbed a cotton ball that I was using to take my nail polish off and started hopping around. He was saying it went like this and jumped all around the room while holding the cotton up for a tail.

I absolutely love this picture!

St. Louis for the 4th

Aman got a call on Sunday from his Step Mom Marianne. She and Alfred took the girls on vacation and were in St. Louis. They asked if we would like to come and spend the 4th with them. So we went fishing and then packed up and headed for St. Louis. We went to the zoo in the morning and it was raining off and on. You would think that would have kinda been miserable, but it was really good it helped keep cool. We road the train all around. Went to see a 3D turtle movie. Road a 3D ride that moved. Even rode an animal carousel. We saw so much and had a really great time. Then we went back to the hotel and took a nap. At least Adam and I took a nap. Then we had a late lunch and went swimming at the hotel. Yes I even went swimming. Then we drove to downtown St. Louis for the fireworks. They were very cool. I did really miss West Union though. Didn't seem the same not being there. We came back this morning and stopped in Vandallia to see my Uncle Steve. He wasn't home so we took the boys to the park down the road. It was a really great time. I am really glad to have had a break and get away. It always makes me so happy to be home.
